| How do you identify your personal consultant or coach
Indeed, if you have had an advisor or consultant who was of much help, that remains to
be seen at the end of the day. Here I would like to give you some tips that might help you in order to judge the quality of a consultant/coach/advisor at the stage of evaluation:
o First of all listen to your “inner voice”: If it says no, just say no to the person or company!
o Experience: Ask the consultant to tell you all about similar projects he accompanied. After all, your advisor/consultant should be able to coach you and not vice versa.
o
And, most important: He should be willing to share in the risk you have. If he thinks the project merits any effort, he should agree to split part of his fee until the project shows the success you both worked for.
This is one way to sort the wheat from the chaff.
